The SNF held their 83rd annual basketball tournament in Milwaukee, WI on June 15th to 17th, 2023 and participating in the tournament was the Bay Area Serbs Basketball team comprised of men from the Bay Area.
The First Serbian Benevolent Society graciously underwrote the team with a donation enabling them to purchase uniforms, airline tickets and accommodations.
This was their second year in a row fielding a competitive team of talented players. The team was comprised of the following players and coaching staff:

They played hard against some strong teams winning 1/3 of the games. They of course had a great time and took the opportunity to visit many sights in Milwaukee and attended a Brewers Baseball game. They had a great time at the dances and events which were attended by thousands of excited Serbs of all ages, dancing, enjoying Serbian food and drinks and making new friends.
They appreciated the continued financial support of the FSBS who paid for much of their travel expenses. Also attending the tournament were a number of FSBS parents including Robert Adzich, John Medan, Robert & Mira Medan, & Nick Vukcevich.
They look forward to playing again next year with an expanded roster!
